Part 1: The Pulse16 app
Pulse16 does not collect, store or share any personal data.
- No accounts, no analytics, no ads, no tracking. The app has no server and sends nothing over the internet.
- Microphone: used only while you record a sample. The recording is saved as a file inside the app on your device and is never uploaded.
- Files: audio files you load stay on your device; the app only reads the file you pick.
- Projects and presets are stored locally on your device.
- Purchase: the optional one-time purchase is handled entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) under their terms. Pulse16 only learns from the store whether the purchase exists; it receives no payment or personal data.
- MIDI controllers: messages from a connected controller are used only inside the app.
If you delete the app, all of its data is removed from your device.
Part 2: This website
Hosting and server logs
The website is hosted by STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany. When you open a page, the server processes technically necessary data sent by your browser: IP address, date and time, the page requested, amount of data transferred, referrer URL, browser and operating system. This is needed to deliver the website and keep it secure. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure and stable operation). We do not analyse this data or combine it with other data. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with STRATO.
No cookies, no tracking, no third-party content
This website sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking services and loads nothing from other servers (no external fonts, scripts or maps).
Links to the App Store and Google Play
The store buttons are plain links. Only when you click one do you go to Apple or Google, whose privacy policies then apply.
Contact by email
If you email us, we use your details only to answer your request (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR) and delete them once they are no longer needed for that and no legal retention period applies.
